Omino Wholesale works as a warehouse branch of our manufacturing facility, eliminating the third-party importers' profit margins. Our motive is to reach out to small, medium & large commercial growers, microgreen growers, nurseries, greenhouses, larger retail arms, civil construction firms, horse arenas, and farms by providing the best possible wholesale deals which in return pass down the benefits to end users. ​

Omino Wholesale offers wholesale deals from one 20ft or 40ft container deals allowing most of the industry players to access our product range at their capacity. 

Omino Wholesale prices are offered to the Naw Zealand market on FOB- Colombo - Sri Lanka base. We offer either to arrange your own shipping/freight and local clearing if it works out economical for you or to rely on us to pass on the cost reimbursements of our best shipping/freight contracted rates.

Generally, the "natural", "organic" and "biodegradable" themes sound expensive. However, they will not be, provided we as responsible entrepreneurs play our part.

Coir Fibre wholesale deals

Coir Fibre is sold in various forms. Fiber can be;

  • Un-cut, un-graded & mixed form with lengths from 5cm to 24cm

  • Cut, un-graded & mixed form with lengths less than 5cm

  • Graded natural coir fibre/bristle fibre or coloured, waxed 

Un-cut, un-graded & mixed form with lengths from 5cm to 24cm

This is ideal for horse riding/training arenas giving the surface a softer touch for animals and also to use as animal bedding surfaces. This is also used to cover naked soil surfaces of gardens & land developments to avoid soil erosion, and to mix with clay soil to enhance the soil condition & air porosity. Also heavily used in plant seedling industries allowing increased air circulation for the young plants. 

Un-cut coir fibre is sold in:

 

  • 1kg retail packs    (1,000 bags in 20ft FCL and 2,000 bags in 40ft FCL)

  • 10kg loose compressed bales (640 bales in 40ft FCL)

  • 20kg loose compressed bales (240 bales in 20ft and 560 bales in 40ft FCL)

  • 125kg compressed bales (60 bales in 20ft and 150 bales in 40ft FCL)

Cut, un-graded & mixed form with lengths less than 5cm

This is ideal for horticultural needs in particular with seedling processes and also to mix with compost and growing mediums, to improve the soil conditions of large industrial farms. Also widely apply on the surfaces of playgrounds and sports grounds, or golf grounds in final preparations before the grass is planted, allowing improved natural drainage of excess water.

Cut coir fibre is sold in:

 

  • 1kg retail packs (1,000 bags in 20ft FCL or 2,000 bags in 40ft FCL)

  • 10kg loose compressed bales (640 bales in 40ft FCL)

  • 20kg loose compressed bales (240 bales in 20ft FCL and 560 bales in 40ft FCL)

  • or as per customer needs in custom sizes. 

Graded natural coir fibre/bristle fibre or coloured, waxed 

Graded coir fibre/bristle fibre is mostly used in the industrial sector for making coir twine, coir brushes and special filters. Graded fibre is sold as natural fibre, waxed fibre or coloured fibre. 

 

 

Graded fibre is generally sold in:

  • 12.5kg bags (600 bags per 20ft FCL and 1,560 bags per 40ft FCL)

  • 25kg bags    (300 bags per 20ft FCL and 780 bags per 40ft FCL)

  • 12.5kg compressed bales (840 bales in 20ft FCL and 2,000 bales in 40ft FCL)

  • 25kg compressed bales    (840 bales in 20ft FCL)

Planter Bags are used in domestic and commercial greenhouses and plant nurseries in the hydroponics/ or horticultural sector. Generally, planter bags last for several harvesting cycles without the need for changing the growing medium in them. 

We are specialised in greenhouse planter bags for indoor usage or for the use of large commercial farms. The growing medium in the planter bags is usually a mix of CocoPeat and Husk Chips, and the ratio is dependent on the crop. Mostly 60%-70% of Husk Chips and 40%-30% of CocoPeat are used for most of the crops. 

  • As the sizes and the mix are heavily dependent on the crop, the specifications below are only for one size

  • We make custom sizes as per the requirements, please inquire

  • Size of the planter bag 20cm X 20cm X 7cm

  • Compression ratio 5:1

  • Grow medium composition 70% Husk Chips and 30% CocoPeat

  • EC has been set to less than 0.6 ms/cm on 1:5 volume-to-volume method. EC can be set as per the crop requirements. 

  • PH is set at 5.5 to 6.5

  • Moisture - below 20%

CocoPeat wholesale deals

CocoPeat is sold in various forms. 

  • 100% CocoPeat form

  • 50% CocoPeat and 50% Husk Chips forms

  • 20% CocoPeat and 80% Husk Chips forms

Generally, 100% CocoPeat form is used in microgreens sectors and nurseries. The industrial greenhouses, hydroponics farming sector, and large farms use a mix of CocoPeat and Husk Chips based on their crop requirements. 

CocoPeat 5kg compressed blocks

 

  • ​Compressed to 5:1 ratio

  • EC has been set at 0.5ms/cm on 1:5 volume-to-volume method

  • PH is set at 5.5 to 6.5

  • Wet/or field volume is 65 to 75 litres (add 18 to 20 litres of water)

  • Block size 30cm X 30cm X 15cm

  • 2,400 blocks per 20ft FCL and 5,120 blocks per 40ft FCL

CocoPeat 27kg loose compressed bales

This is specifically designed for commercial sectors of large farms, the landscaping industry, golf course settings and the horse riding/training sector. 

  • Compressed to 2:1 ratio

  • EC has been set at 0.5ms/cm on 1:5 volume-to-volume method

  • PH is set at 5.5 to 6.5

  • Wet/or field volume is 190 to 200 litres 

  • Bale size 75cm X 45cm X 30cm

  • 240 bales per 20ft FCL and 560 bales per 40ft FCL

HuskChips wholesale deals

Husk Chips are pre-cut pieces of coconut husks and the size ranges from 1cm to 3cm. Husk chips are widely used in eco-friendly animal farming to use as animal bedding, horse riding and training sector to use on the fields giving the surface a softer touch to the animals, and horticultural sectors in particular Orchid and Anthurium farms.

This is also used as a substitute for wood barks and also to mix in grow mediums for commercial potting mixes.
